Mermaid Sister

Every girl has day dreamed about what it would be like to be a mermaid, what how about having a mermaid for a sister? This story is about a little girl who’s fed up with her brother and puts in a wanted aid for a sister. She places it into a bottle and throws into the sea. Who shows up to respond, but a mermaid, who’s also fed up with her brother too. So the mermaid comes to live with the little girl and they think it’s great… most of the time. But eventually the mermaid realizes she misses her own family, but what’s more important that her little brother misses her. So she goes back to the sea in the end, but they all stay very good friends. I thought this book was so cute! It’s a short read and the pictures show all the details of the unforeseen changes people have to make in order to accommodate a mermaid in their home. Very cute story!
