“Too Many Pumpkins”by Linda White

Once a long time ago when our main character was a little girl, there was a period in her life where all her family had to eat were pumpkins! Since then she HATES the mere sight of pumpkins. Then as luck would have it, one day a pumpkin truck comes drives by her home and 1 pumpkin falls off and smashes to pieces in her front yard. She’s horrified and disgusted, she tries to just clean up the mess and just forget about it. But despite the neglect she gave the spot where the pumpkin smashed, hundreds of pumpkins grow all throughout her yard! She just doesn’t know what to do with all these pumpkins! You’ll have to read the book to see what happens. All I’ll say is that it made me want to try out a few new things in the kitchen. Great book.
