This is a spinoff of a childhood favorite of mine “the was an old lady who swallowed a fly” (you can check out that books information further into this blog). So back to THIS book, this rendition is about a lady who swallowed a bat and then swallows all these other Halloween creatures, so they can swallow or catch the last thing SHE swallowed. It’s fun to read during Halloween season but I have to say it’s not as good as the original “lady who swallowed a FLY” book, it just doesn’t rhyme as well or flow as well when you read/sing the story.
