“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” – By Charles M. Schulz

“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”
By Charles M. Schulz
USA $7.95

I grew up with this cartoon so this is so much fun for me to share this story with my own kids. There are a couple of different publishing of this same story but this copy that I got for my kids is a board book with reusable stickers. The stickers can make things fun but sometimes a pain when your trying to just get thru a book ya know, and we’ve lost about 6 out of the original 30 stickers in the past 2 years. So the stickers are kind of a good thing/bad thing. But if you just want to forget the stickers, like I said, there are OTHER versions of this same story out there. If you don’t know this story, it’s about a boy named Linus who believes that every year the “great pumpkin” will rise out of the pumpkin patch on Halloween night and bring candy and toys to all the good boys and girls. He misses out on trick or treating every year, but this year, he’s not waiting in the pumpkin path alone. Charlie Brown gets invited to his first Halloween party. And Snoopy pretends he’s a World War 1 flying ace chasing the Red Baron. This is a fun book to read, it’s a family favorite.
