“Glow in the Dark Spooky House”By Joanne Barkan
Illustrated by Rose Mary Berlin
I got this book when I was a kid so this might be a little hard to find now a days. It’s about a couple a grandkids who are visiting their grandparents and get a little scared when trying to go to sleep. With the help of their grandparents and parents they learn that all the spooky shadows on the walls, the sounds from outside the window and the creeks from down the hall are really things that aren’t scary at all when you take the time to find out what it is. Light details on this book have been given a glow in the dark embossing so if you read this book with a flashlight at night, it could be a lot of fun with the kids. It’ll help them realize that night time isn’t scary but really cool!
