“Stella fairy of the forest”By Marie-Louise Gay
This story is about an older sister named Stella and her younger brother named Sam and their adventure thru the woods. Stella is an exploring, intelligent, brave young girl with wild red hair and an imagination that lets her enjoy all the beautiful nature around her. She’s always looking out for her younger brother Sam and is always ready with a answer to his questions, even if it’s not the right one. This book make me think about how my own 2 kids will act together a few years from now. I think this would be a great book to read for kids who are in need of a little sibling love for each other. The artwork is done by the author. She uses pencil drawings colored in with watercolor. Very cute book, however not so much about “fairies” as the title might make you think. There are more collected adventures of these 2 siblings if you find this one interesting, you might want to check out the others.
